There comes a time when you realize you’re not a kid anymore. Each day, you face new experiences, bigger challenges, and more pressure. With each of these come a time where you need to make hard decisions. Sometimes they’re big decisions, sometimes not so big… but your actions define who you are and what you want others to see. When it comes to drugs and alcohol, you have to make decisions about yourself and what you choose to do.

The "be FREE!" Project is here in Hopkinton to raise awareness about underage drinking and drug use. This project won’t tell you what to do. But we will talk about alternatives to and consequences of substance use. What you choose is up to you.

So, no matter what you think about drinking and drugs, use this site to learn more. If you still have unanswered questions, you can always call Sue or Jane at 508.497.9820 x1520 or email them at befreeproject@gmail.com.

Here are three types of help:
  1. EMERGENCY. If there is an overdose, you should call 911. Don’t try to assess the situation by yourself.
  2. YOU NEED HELP RIGHT NOW. Call the Massachusetts Helpline: 1.800.327.5050. They are available 24 hours per day.
  3. MORE INFORMATION. There are many websites that can give you more information. Sometimes when you feel you can’t cope with the pressure, it helps to see what other kids do when they’re in your situation. See some of these:
